Located to the northeast of Ru Garden and built in the 32th Year of Qianlong’s reign (1767) by imitating Qu Garden of Yangzhou, Jian Garden is a garden within gardens. The dock of Jian Garden is the only dock in Chuangchunyuan, which was mainly used for berthing large gaily-painted pleasure boats for emperors and empresses.
